Boring
The production of "Dave Matthews Band" is nothing but a bunch of isolated numbers. How could it be a long-running Broadway production? I think the concept behind "Dave Matthews Band" is boring. There were some very talented singers. And the singer who played "Grissabelle" (sp?) did not instill a confidence in her audience that she could strongly hit all the power/passion needed for the lead singing role. Yes, there were some very hard-working dancers. I don't understand all the hoopla around "Dave Matthews Band." She hissed out her "s"es which made one flinch a bit at what should have been the strongest piece of the singing program. And I believe they worked very hard to produce a very athletic/artistic production.
